The trend for weddings these days is small and intimate. And I love shooting smaller weddings! It allows me to be able to really get to know who I am working with, such as this couple, and show their true personalities! These gentlemen were so wonderful to work with and photograph their wedding at Otter Cliffs in Bar Harbor. Adrian was so relaxed and fun! He offered all sorts of great opportunities to really capture their relationship. Justin was more shy and quiet. But with the two together, the happy occasion, the beautiful scenery of Acadia National Park, how could we go wrong?

Peter and Laura had a beautiful Maine wedding at the College of Atlantic in Bar Harbor (http://www.coa.edu/weddings.htm) with reception at Fox Field'sFarm http://www.foxfieldsfarm.com/ (about a .20 minute) ride across the island. Weather was excellent with clear blue skies and 70 degree temps which us Mainer's prefer! College of Atlantic offers a wonderful backdrop for any wedding large or small. Fox Field's Farm is located right on the water and is the perfect setting if "country elegant casual" is your theme! It's one of my favorite venues to photograph. Large open fields and sunsets over the bay make this a very pretty setting for a cocktail hour with dinner and dancing in under a tent. The event was catered by Bar Harbor Catering Co http://www.barharborcateringcompany.com/ and what a delightful casual fun presentation they make of everything they do. I found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. Since Peter is a travel journalist with the Boston Globe, the 1964 T-Bird was the way Peter and Laura wanted to arrive at their reception. Congratulations to the bride and groom! I loved photographing your special day and meeting all your wonderful friends!
